Animal Farm

(Redesigned in Russian Constructivism style)

An allegorical and dystopian novella by George Orwell that reflects the events leading to the Russian Revolution. The story initially portrays the righteous belief of the equality of all animals by the pigs. But at at several points in the novel, the pigs’ eventually sucucumbed to one’s greedy desires and abuse their power, just like the humans they detested.

 

Other than my understanding of Russian Constructivism, the complete minimal abstraction and it’s geometric and expremental elements. I was deeply inspired by the chapter seven of the novel, where the treachery and decption is at it’s peak. Hence, I decided to work with the conept, illusion, expressing the “false appearcance” of Napoleon (the pig).
